Blanche Ilene Hanson

Blanche Ilene Fletcher Hanson, born April 14, 1926, passed away October 15, 2022 at the age of 96.

She will be greatly missed by her three daughters-Karen Penrice (Rob), Val Hanson-Wilson (Skip) and Colleen Hanson (Dale), her grandchildren- Justin Lamoureux (Brittany), Kyra Atilla (Deniz), Dana Penrice (Ted), Brendon Wilson, Gabe Lamoureux (Kaylee). She was predeceased by her husband James Hanson, her grandson Miguel Lamoureux, and twin daughters.

A private family service is planned and her ashes will be interred in the Pincher Creek Cemetery at a future date.

Her family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff on Unit 21 at Michener Extendicare, who cared for her so well over the last 5 months.
