It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Ellen Anderson at the age of 59. She is survived by her parents John and Joyce Anderson, siblings Joanne (Chuck) Keil, Marilyn (Jim) Sheets, Robin (Vanessa) Anderson, nieces, nephews, numerous relatives and friends.

Barb attended school in Lacombe and then completed the Animal Health Technologist program at Olds College. She went on to live and work in many locations throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan. Barb was smart, kind and made friends easily wherever she went. She loved animals (especially dogs), gardening, movies, knitting and doing crossword puzzles.

We hope those who knew Barb will find comfort in recalling a fond memory of a time they shared with her.

A family graveside service will be held at the Earlville Rutherford Cemetery in the spring. If you feel so inclined, memorial donations in Barb’s honour may be made directly to your local Humane Society or SPCA.
