Leedholm, Arthur (Art)

It is with great sadness, but gentle relief that we announce the passing of our beloved father, husband, uncle, grandpa & friend, Art Leedholm at the age of 93.

From the arms of his family to the loving arms of his heavenly father, Dad was a devoted man who earned his passage to eternal life. He was born March 28, 1932 and departed us on November 30, 2025, joining his first wife and mother of his four children, Leona Leedholm in Heaven.

Left behind to miss and remember him is his second wife Vera Marie Leedholm from Sherwood Park, His four children Dwayne (Jane) from Lougheed, Jerry (Jacky) from Red Deer, Carolyn (Bryan) from Red Deer, Brenda (Randy) of Red Deer. Step children Connie Smith from Sherwood Park, Dean (Ingrid) from Ontario. Cal (Cheryl) from Edmonton.

Also, two Nephews that were like sons to Dad as they lived with our family for many years are Arnie (Jacqueline) & Barry Leedholm.

Grandchildren: Jenny (Barry), Jeff (Stacy), Allison (Brad), Rebecca (Josh), Amanda, Mike (Kelsey), Cara-Leigh (James) Step Grandchildren: Tristan, Maddie, Katie (Tim), Becky (Brett).

20 Great Grandchildren & many Nieces, Nephews.

Dad was predeceased by his first wife Leona Leedholm, his parents Adolf & Lily Leedholm, brother Win Leedholm, brother Mervin Leedholm. Sister and brother-in-law Irene & Jim Roark, sister Evelyn McElvaine, Brother in-law and his wife Lamar & Gertrude Graff.

There will be a viewing for family and friends at Eventide Funeral Home on December 12th from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM Internment at Alto Reste Cemetery 12:00 PM for immediate family.

A memorial Service to celebrate Dad’s life will be held at Eventide Funeral Home on December 12th at 2:00 PM with lunch to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke foundation or charity of your choice.
