September 28, 1932 – March 4, 2022
Arnold Machan passed away peacefully after a long courageous battle, March 4 at Red Deer Hospice, at the age of 89.
Arnold was raised and attended school in Perth, Ontario, moving to Red Deer at the age of 19. He was a dedicated employee of Uncle Ben’s RV for 32 years, retiring at the age of 58.
His retirement was filled with many years of curling in Red Deer and Sylvan Lake. He enjoyed traveling and camping. His career and family were always his priority.
Arnold will be cherished and lovingly remembered by his two sons; Randy (Roseann) and Pat, grandchildren; Janelle (Jamie), Amanda (Matt) and Brendan; great-granchildren; Jack, Luke, Jeremiah & Lorelei, Brother; Vern (Gail) Machan, Sisters; Rhoda Anderson, Beverly Pinder, Marlene Kaufman, Joanne Spenceley (Harold), Sister-in-law Carol Machan and many nieces and nephews.
Arnold is predeceased by his wife Maryanne Machan, parents; Raymond and Irene Machan, Siblings; Marguerite Frizell, Ronald Machan, and Joyce Ransbury.
The family would like to express our gratitude to the Red Deer Hospice for the excellent care Arnold received.
