Anthony S. Clarke “Tony” 

February 22,1973-March 5,2026 

Age 53 

Passed peacefully away at his home in Sylvan Lake, Alberta, surrounded by family and friends, after a long battle with cancer. 

Tony, formerly of Goose Cove, Newfoundland, was predeceased by his father, Alexander (San) Clarke, grandparents Cyril and Nellie Bartlett, and Mark and Mahala Clarke, as well as other loving family members. 

Tony leaves to mourn his beloved mother Suzanne, brothers Michael (Tina), and Kevin (Dawn), niece Paula Clarke, nephew and godson Trevor Clarke and godson Sullivan Hookey, a large number of Aunts, Uncles and cousins especially Jamie, Karen, Jennifer and their families. Also a long list of friends,  including special friends Darlene and Phil Rehm, John and Matilde Umlah, and Melinda and Allan Wiebe. 

There will be a celebration of Tony’s life at the Red Deer Funeral Home, 6150 67th St Red Deer on Friday, March 13th from 12-5pm. Tony will be laid to rest with his father at a later date. 

The family would like to thank Dr. Reuther, the doctors and nurses at the cancer clinic in Red Deer and Calgary for their care and to all who made it possible to get Tony home. Thanks as well to those who helped around the house and stayed with us during this difficult time.
