Ann Marie-Louise Shearer

Ann Marie-Louise Shearer of Red Deer passed away Sunday, December 20 at the age of 81 years.
Ann is survived and missed by her son Brian (Cindy) Rice; daughters Tammy (Garth) Moodie, Bonnie Atkinson and son-in-law John MacDonald; brothers Allan (Burna) Couper and Larry (Rayann) Couper; and sisters Doreen (Clarence) Kits and Colleen (Gordon) Goodbrand. She leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many extended family and dear friends.
Ann was predeceased by her daughter Brenda MacDonald; her sons-in-law Ron Atkinson and Cary Rumohr; and grandson Teryn Rumohr.
Ann worked as an institutional aide at Michener Center from 1966 to 1999. Ann spent 33-and-a-half years loving her job and loving her clients. She was amazing at her job. She had a big servant’s heart and it showed in the way she cared for others. It is this big, beautiful heart that will be missed the most.
A memorial service will be held at a later date when circumstances permit.
