Angela Joyce Morris

At the age of 78 Angela Joyce Morris passed away peacefully and gracefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on June 4th, 2020.
Angela was born on January 23, 1942 in Morne Diablo on the island of Trinidad and Tobago. She was wife to the late Wilfred Morris. She was predeceased by her son Wilfred Jr and daughter Charlene. She leaves to mourn her children Elizabeth (Darrell) Klassen, Thomas (Gabrielle) and Sarah (Kevin) Perry. Grandmother of eight (Nicholas, Tristan, Gabi, Ethan, Sarah-Leigh, Xavier, Xander, and Isabelle). Sister to the late Lincoln Jairam, Esther (Paul) Persad, Wayne (Judy) Jairam, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Angie immigrated to the Tees, Alberta area in 1987 with her family. Where she dedicated the next 18 years raising her two youngest children. In 2005 she moved to Red Deer Alberta, to reside with her youngest daughter and family until her passing.
Angie will always be remembered for her welcoming personality, she always had a cup of tea to offer you. Her many stories and experiences of her younger years as an entrepreneur and business owner in her earlier years in Trinidad.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Those wishing to make a donation In lieu of flowers in Angela’s name, can do so to the Canadian Diabetic Association and/or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions a private celebration of Angela’s life will be held June 11, 2020 at the Red Deer Funeral Home.
