Andrew George Matchett was born on June 25^th, 1964, and peacefully on July 18^th, 2022, Andrew passed away in Red Deer, Alberta.

He was predeceased by his parents George and Carmel Matchett and by his daughter Nicole Gerldine Matchett.

Andrew leaves behind 11 brothers and sisters, many nieces, nephews and in-laws.  He had 3 children that he loved very much; Jordan Matchett, Jessica Barnett, and Daniel Leger, as well as 2 grandchildren.

Andrew had a love for dogs, fishing and the Miramichi where he grew up.  He travelled a lot and loved his family very much.

The family are sincerely grateful for all the staff at Red Deer Hospital and EMS for the past care they gave Andrew in his last few years. Also, we would like to thank the staff at Red Deer Funeral Home for taking good care of Andrew in the end.

The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date in New Brunswick.
