On Sunday, July 26, 2026 after a long journey of 100 years on earth, God took Lucille Alma Touchette on one last trip to her home in heaven. Lucille was born on November 1, 1925 in Wainwright, Alberta. She started her teaching career in 1945 and continued until her retirement in 1982. She enjoyed helping each and every student in any way she could. She loved seeing small children, especially her nieces and nephews. With the birth of a new family member, her knitting needles went into action and the baby soon received beautiful knitted items. She leaves behind her sister-in-law, Jeanne Touchette; her nieces and nephews, Leo and Denise Touchette, Jacqueline and Rolf Westera, Denise and Jan Kofin, Gwen Touchette and all of their families. Lucille was predeceased by her sister, Cecile; her brothers, Marcel and Pierre; and her nephew, Martin Touchette. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
