It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Miss Carly Leona Fredrickson at home, on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at the age of 25 years. Carly was born on June 26, 2000, in Red Deer, Alberta, to Allan and Laura (née Carr) Fredrickson, and was the beloved younger sister of Amy. She grew up in Red Deer, where her feisty, fearless spirit was evident from the very beginning. Carly loved to play hard and was always ready for an adventure – willing to try anything and go anywhere. She was drawn to the water and the mountains, finding joy in camping, hiking, swimming, and exploring the world around her. Known for her confidence and compassion, Carly had a special gift with both animals and children. She carried herself with a natural presence that could fill a room without effort—daring, vibrant, and full of life. Despite her strength and bright spirit, Carly quietly carried struggles that were heavier than most realized, and in time, those challenges became too much for her to bear. Carly will be lovingly remembered by her parents, Allan and Laura Fredrickson; her older sister, Amy Fredrickson (Nathan Leclair) and numerous family members and close friends.
