How do you even begin to say goodbye to someone who is gone too soon?

Jordan Russell Yandeau, 26, is a son, a grandson, a nephew, a cousin, a friend, a hockey fanatic, a NASCAR guy… and now a hole in our hearts and our lives.

Jordan was taken from us suddenly on February 17, and the world shifted forever.

Jordan was born on December 18, 1996 to Len Yandeau and Lynn Racher, in Red Deer, Alberta. As a wee one, anyone who met Jordan would marvel at his ability to recite technical facts about almost any vehicle made since the 1980s. His brilliant mind made his school life very successful, although high school physics was a chore. After Jordan graduated from Notre Dame in 2015, he went out into the world and had many adventures, successes, and cars always finding his way in the world with laughs, kindness, sports statistics, and friends and family at his side. No one will ever know why some stories are cut short – but we will move forward each day with Jordan’s love and memories, and the knowledge that even if for too short a time, we had him in our lives.

He is lovingly remembered by his mom, Lynn Racher, his stepdad Ron Whitney, his stepmom Holly Yandeau, his Papa, Leif Olson and his extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins. He also leaves behind so many others that loved him. Jordan was predeceased by his dad Len Yandeau, and his grandparents Don Racher, Fay Racher, and Dorothy Olson.

A Memorial Service will be held at Heartland Funeral Services Chapel on Saturday, February 25 at 1:00 p.m. Come and help celebrate Jordan’s life wearing your favorite sports jersey.
