It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Miss Brayanne Rebecca Dawe (Meeper), from heart complications, in Red Deer on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at the age of 27 years. Brayanne was born in Maple Ridge, British Columbia on June 6, 1993 to parents, Tammy Toews (nee Stephenson) and Harold Dawe. Brayanne was an extremely unique individual; not just in her manner, but in her approach to love and life. She was filled with wanderlust and a love for all things animal. Some would even say that she would have given Noah a run for his money, and his ark. Brayanne was known to be a Gypsy by nature and pull up roots at the drop of a hat and move; either to a new home, or most times a different Province. So strong was her love of travel and things different, but she always seemed to find her way home to family and friends. Most would describe her as the backbone, the rock, the solid one to depend on, in any of her groups of friends. She always lent an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, or was the one to meter out advice and help solve problems. Many would comment on her infectious smile and wonderful laugh; both lighting up a room and making all comfortable to be around her. Brayanne is survived by her son, Jaxon who along with her dogs, Cleo and Bunchie, were the love of her life. Becoming a mother, as told by Brayanne, was her greatest accomplishment. Brayanne will be sadly missed by her mother, Tammy (Shaun) Toews, her father, Gus (Patricia) Dawe and her brother, Riley Dawe. She will also be sadly missed by her grandparents, Phil Stephenson, and Harold and Louise Dawe, her stepsiblings, Sydney and Gabe Konyha; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and more friends than can be counted. She will be missed dearly with heavy hearts and weeping eyes, by all that knew her, family and friends. “In the end it will be okay. If it’s not okay, then it’s not the end.” Quote from Brayanne.
