On Sunday, July 24, 2022, Clay Thomas Andersen was suddenly taken from us in Chilliwack, British Columbia, at the age of 32 years. Clay was born in Red Deer, Alberta on Thursday, June 14, 1990. He grew up in Innisfail, Alberta and was involved in many different activities such as, soccer, baseball, hockey, and golf to name a few. He also loved to fish! Clay started in the R.A.P. Program in Grade Eleven, which allowed him to quickly become a Journeyman Welder. Clay met Rachelle Boyce, the love of his life, six years ago. They shared so many trips, memories, and adventures together. Rachelle’s son, Blake, was also a big part of the fun times. Clay had a great love for animals, which was evident with his Frenchie puppy, Dax. They recently added a new member to their little family, another Frenchie puppy, Gravy. Clay worked pipeline, and with his hard work and dedication, he soon moved up to his most recent position as a foreman with Bonatti (Team 5B) in Chilliwack, British Columbia. Clay had a huge heart and if you were his friend, he would give you the shirt off his back to show he cared. Always loved, never forgotten, forever missed. Clay will be deeply and lovingly remembered by his partner, Rachelle Boyce, his stepson, Blake Boomer, his mother, Gina Marshall, his stepfather, Guy Mackinnon, his brothers, Cole and Blake Martin, his stepbrother, Kade Mackinnon (Melissa) and his stepsisters, Alexa and Kiana Mackinnon. He will also be sadly missed by his gramma, Pat Marshall (Les Sedgwick), his gramma-in-law, Mary Weatherly, his special uncle, Kevin Marshall (Sylvia), his special cousins, Lacy Dunn (John) and Dylan Marshall, his numerous Andersen aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
