Kory Eric Nielsen passed away suddenly at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at the age of 36 years. Kory was born January 30, 1986 in Red Deer, Alberta, where he would remain for the majority of his life. He was an avid welder at Pidherney’s, under the guidance of his beloved uncle, Gary Nielsen. Kory loved to spend time with family and friends, especially his younger brother, Brandon Hauca. He enjoyed travelling, dirt biking and other outdoor activities alongside his brother, Brandon. Kory was a caring and compassionate young man with a heart of gold and would do anything he could to help the people he loved. Kory will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Sandy Nielsen, and his younger brother, Brandon Hauca, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Kory was predeceased by his grandmother, Jean Nielsen, and a brother, Christian Nielsen. A Private Celebration of Kory’s Life will take place at a later date.
