It is with great sadness, the family of Harold Gavin ‘Junior’, announce his sudden passing, at Red Deer, Alberta, on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at the the age of 35 years. Junior was caring, loving, and would stop at nothing to make his friends and family laugh and smile. He was the guy everyone loved to be around, and to have on their side, during good times or bad. He was a hero, a legend, and a friend that will never be forgotten and sadly missed by all. Junior was taken from us way to early due to a sudden heart attack. Junior will be lovingly remembered by his mom, Joyce Gavin, his grandparents, Eric and Erma Rose, his brother, Glen (Mel) Laybolt, his sisters, Jolene (Kent) Wheeler and Melinda (Mark) Merner and his brother, Nick (Audriona) Gavin. He will also be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, Haliey, Aiken, Tina, Brandon, Joshua, and Lucas Merner, Keagan, Jacob and Marley Wheeler and his goddaughter, Aurora Hasnip; as well as numerous other relatives and close friends. Junior was predeceased by his father, Harold Cletus Gavin. A Viewing and Celebration of Junior’s Life will be held at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 – 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
