PATTERSON, Bradley
1985-2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Bradley George Patterson of Red Deer, Alberta, on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the age of 40 years. Bradley will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his mother, Helen Patterson; his son, Dominik Patterson, who meant the world to him; his uncles, Gordon (Sue) Avramenko of Saskatchewan and Daren (Linda) Avramenko of Viking, Alberta; along with many cousins, and his best friend, Jesse Gnauk, who stood by his side through life’s ups and downs. He was predeceased by his beloved grandparents, Floyd and Shirley Avramenko, who held a special place in his heart. Bradley was raised in Delia, Drumheller, and Red Deer, places that helped shape the man he became. He was someone who truly enjoyed working with his hands—whether it was building, collecting, woodworking, or fixing vehicles. He had a natural talent for mechanics and a sharp, creative mind that allowed him to approach problems in his own unique way. If something needed figuring out, Bradley was the one who could do it. He found peace and happiness in the simple things—camping under the open sky, spending quiet time outdoors, and being with his schnauzer, who was a constant and loyal companion. Bradley began working at a young age in construction and carried that strong work ethic throughout his life. He believed in giving his all, often saying, “Full days or no days,” a phrase that perfectly captured his determination and drive. Over the years, he also worked in the oil patch, always willing to put in the hard work. More than anything, Bradley will be remembered for who he was—a thoughtful, capable, and genuine person who left a lasting impression on those who knew him. His presence, his spirit, and the memories he created will never be forgotten. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
