It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Ryan Robertson, who left us on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at the age of 40 years. The depths of our sorrow know no bounds. Ryan was a cherished son, brother, husband, father and friend known for his love of conversation and his infectious humor. His laughter was the loudest, especially when it came to his own jokes. He grew up in Hespeler, Ontario. The Robertson Brothers were a well-known duo. Ryan, “Big Rig Ryan ” a talented drummer, could effortlessly replicate any beat he heard, seamlessly transitioning from metal to Mozart. His love for Metallica and his need for blasting music at full volume are memories that will forever resonate with those who knew him. Ryan had the biggest laugh and the best hugs, and left an unforgettable mark on all who knew him. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Dione Robertson, his mother, Lynn Harvey, his sister, Krista (Joe Rolston) Robertson, his brother, Shawn Robertson, his grandfather, Bud Harvey, Donovan, Jessica and Rayannan. Ryan will also be deeply missed by his uncle, Doug Harvey, his nephew, Eric Harvey, his niece, Caitlin Harvey and his aunt, Lorraine Harvey. Ryan’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His laughter, his music, and his remarkable spirit will never be forgotten.
