Mr. Sean Saunders passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026 at the age of 43 years.

Sean was born in Kentville, Nova Scotia, where he was raised and spent his early years surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Kentville always remained a meaningful place in his story, shaping the person he became. Later in life, Sean made his way west to Alberta, where he built a life rich in love, meaningful connections, lasting memories, and where he raised his family.

Sean was a devoted husband to his wife Katelyn, and a proud father to his sons Korbin and Mason; and Daughter Clarissa. His family was at the center of everything he did, and he will be remembered for his love, dedication and the role he played in their lives.

Sean is also survived by his Father Brian Saunders; his brothers Colin Brown and Scott Saunders; his sisters Christa Brown and Jeannie Lutz; his nephew Ben; his nieces Rhyaleigh, Maddie (Josh) and Brianne (Kaleb); as well as many extended family members and dear friends who were like family to him.

Sean shared deep and meaningful bonds with those he loved, and those relationships were a defining part of his life. He will be remembered not only for the life he built, but for the kindness he showed, the love he gave, and the lasting impact he had on all who knew him. Sean is predeceased by his mother Marlene Saunders.

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Hideout, 411 Lantern Street, Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, April 18, 2026 from the hours of 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
