It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Mr. Chad Harris Lehner, due to heart complications, with his family by his side, at the Misericordia Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta on Monday, June 27, 2022 at the age of 40 years. Chad was born and raised in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, graduating from Wesmor High School. He then attended the SIAST Heavy Equipment Operator Program and the Class 1A Truck Driver Program. He loved the farm life and was known for acquiring old trucks, tractors, cars, motorbikes, and snowmobiles with the intent of fixing them up! Chad was always on the lookout for the “next great deal.” He enjoyed many different things in life; trucks, operating heavy equipment, snowmobiling and dirt biking. Chad also had a love for horses and enjoyed many different events with his horse, Taylor, as a youth competitor. He had a love for all animals, including horses, dogs and cats. Chad loved and cared for several different pets of his own; as well as helping with many different animal rescue organizations. He was a kind and generous person. Chad will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Debbie Lehner, his sister, Robyn Lehner (Cody Gorosh), his nephew, Cooper, his nieces, Paige and Madison and his aunt, Jodi Goodrick (Piet Langstraat). He will also be sadly missed by his best friend, Kilo, as well as numerous friends. Chad was predeceased by his father, John Lehner, his uncle, Tim Goodrick, his aunt, Michelle Goodrick and his grandparents. A Celebration of Chad’s Life will be held at a later date. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
