1981 ~ Brandon Chassie ~ 2022 "Those around him got to see his artistic creations through cars, electronics, his sense of fashion (he was, after all ridiculously good looking lol), but the thing that he really shined at was his landscaping work".

Brandon passed away suddenly on January 6, 2022, in Red Deer, Alberta. He is survived by his loving parents, Pat (Michelle) Chassie, Denise (Gord) Chassie, sisters, Kara (Mark) Lussier, Justine McKay, stepsisters, Sarah Gabel and Brooke Gabel, and his four children, Adam, Dayton, Haylee, and Jayden as well as his two grandchildren, Peyton and Nolan, his grandfather, Ray Chassie, grandmothers, Lorna Sparrow, and Joan Chassie, seven nieces and nephews, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Brandon was a talented and creative man. Those around him got to see his artistic creations through cars, electronics, his sense of fashion (he was, after all ridiculously good looking lol), but the thing that he really shined at was his landscaping work. Brandon was a kind, charismatic and spirited soul. He never shied away from adventure and lived on the edge most of the time. Those that were lucky enough to know the real Brandon, got the chance to see his never-ending sense of humour. The warmth and compassion for those he loved was ever imaginable. Through all of Brandon’s struggles, the one thing that always remained steadfast was how much love he had for those he cared about. Brandon’s love for his children and family was fierce, and he would give anything he had, even if he had nothing, to make sure they knew how much he loved them. Brandon’s warm smile and comforting bear hugs will be greatly missed by all of those who loved him. Now he can be free, at peace and live on in our hearts and memories.
One at Rest (Author Unknown)
Think of me as one at rest
for me you should not weep;
I have no pain no troubled thoughts,
for I am just asleep.
The living thinking me that was
is now forever still,
and life goes on without me now
as time forever will.
If your heart is heavy now
because I’ve gone away,
dwell not long upon it, friend,
for none of us can stay.
Those of you who liked me,
I sincerely thank you all,
and those of you who loved me
I thank you most of all.
And in my fleeting lifespan,
as time went rushing by,
I found some time to hesitate;
to laugh, to love, to cry.
Matters it now if time began,
if time will ever cease?
I was here, I used it all
and now I am at peace.
