1976 ~ Ms. Nadine Michelle Arendt ~ 2023 “Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die.’” -John 11:25-26

Ms. Nadine Michelle Arendt of Red Deer, Alberta peacefully drifted into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at the age of 47 years.
Nadine was born on January 29, 1976, in Regina, Saskatchewan. From a young age, Nadine was curious, smart, and had the ability to make friends with everyone she met. People have said that Nadine took the time to really listen and genuinely show interest in their lives, remembering even the smallest of details that would make them feel special. She had a wide circle of friends who were all very important to her, and in return, she was loved by so many.
Nadine graduated with first class honors from the University of Alberta in 1999, and in 2002, received her LL.B., with distinction, from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law, where she was on the Dean’s List, and the articles editor of the Alberta Law Review. She clerked for the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench and Court of Appeal from 2002 to 2003, and was admitted to the bars of New York, Alberta (the Law Society of Alberta), and Ontario (the Law Society of Upper Canada). Nadine fulfilled her dream of having a career as a lawyer and was proud to have practiced at Stikeman Elliott in Toronto, and at Davis Polk & Wardwell in Manhattan, maintaining life-long friendships with many special colleagues.
Nadine returned to Alberta in 2009 to be closer to her family, and most recently worked at the Agriculture Financial Services Corporation, as a Senior Legal and Governance Counsel, alongside many wonderful colleagues whom she spoke highly of.
Spending time with her family was one of her favorite things. She was our ray of sunshine.
Nadine’s Christian faith was the most important part of her life, which she demonstrated every day through her compassion and generosity to those around her.
Nadine will be profoundly missed by her parents, Wayne and Darlene Arendt; her sister, Colleen (Curt) Geake and her sister, Charlene Arendt.
Honoring Nadine’s wishes, no Funeral or Memorial Service will be held.
In lieu of flowers or Memorial Donations, we ask that you honor Nadine’s memory by performing a random act of kindness.
It would mean a great deal to her family if you would share a special memory of Nadine, and how she touched your life.
“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even
though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die.’”
