With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jason Kenneth Walroth, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Olds Hospice Society in Olds, AB, at the age of 50 years.

Jason was born on March 8, 1975, in Didsbury, AB, to parents Ken Walroth and Gayle Walroth (née Sundberg), and was raised in Carstairs, AB, where he created a lifetime of memories and friendships. He was a man of great kindness, who was known for his warm heart, his infectious sense of humour, and his dedication to his family.

Jason is lovingly remembered by his parents, Ken and Gayle Walroth, of Carstairs, AB; his children, Shaileen (James) Whalen, and Kael Walroth; and his beloved grandchildren, all of whom brought him so much joy. Jason is also survived by his sister, Charity (Chris) McGonigal; and his nieces and nephews, Keegan, Benjamin, Abigayle, and Elysabeth, who were all so dear to him. He will be dearly missed by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as a wide circle of friends who were fortunate to know him. His connection to his extended family and friends was a true reflection of his loving and caring nature.

Jason’s legacy of love, support, and unwavering loyalty, will continue to inspire those who had the honour of sharing in his life. His memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones and his spirit will never be forgotten.

Though he is gone, Jason’s love and kindness will remain with us always.

A Celebration of Jason’s Life will be held at a later date, details to be announced.
