REYNOLDS, Trevor
1974-2025
Trevor George Reynolds of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, passed away on March 6, 2025, at the age of 50. Born in Souris, Manitoba, on June 18, 1974, Trevor grew up in Hartney, Manitoba, where he was very involved in playing football and hockey. He spent two years at the University of Manitoba before moving to Alberta to continue his education. Trevor graduated and began working as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse in 1999 at Alberta Hospital Ponoka (now Centennial Centre). He had a long career at the Centennial Centre and Red Deer Regional Hospital. He was known for being kind, generous with his time, and an advocate for his patients. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor among his friends. Trevor’s passions in life were his daughters, playing golf, and cheering on his favorite NFL team, the Detroit Lions. He loved to travel south to play golf and attend games. He was an avid cat lover and leaves behind his beloved Cogsworth for his daughters. Trevor is survived by his daughters, Rachel and Olivia Reynolds (Tanya Kirby) of Spruce View, Alberta; his mother, Claudette MacPherson of Red Deer, Alberta; his brother, Lee (Kendra and Layne) Reynolds of Ponoka, Alberta; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends. He was predeceased by his stepfather, Ian MacPherson. As per Trevor’s wishes, no service will be held. Donations may be made in his memory to Next Chapter Animal Rescue League of Red Deer, Alberta.
