Ms. Angela Marie (Angie) Lajeunesse of Red Deer, Alberta, passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the age of 46 years. She was the youngest daughter to Judy Lajeunesse (Larry Dyck) and Vic Lajeunesse (Donna Blake). Angie was born and raised in Red Deer and with a strong love for basketball, playing for Red Deer College Queens, she was athlete of the year – every year they’d let her play. She went on to coach and mentor young basketball players for many years. Her unconditional love for animals meant she was always surrounded by her fur-babies. She lived her life to the fullest with a big, beautiful smile and a story to always brighten your day. She was the life of the party, good luck winning a dance-off against her. Her family was her number one priority, especially her mother, Judy, whom she took amazing care of and their bond will forever remain strong. Angie will be lovingly remembered and missed by her partner/best friend, Aaron Matheson and his daughter Amy. She will deeply be missed by her mom, Judy (Larry), her dad, Vic (Donna), her brothers and sisters; Mike (Lee-anne) Lajeunesse, Diane (Darcy) Shannon, Robert (Kelly) Lajeunesse, Ryan (Sarah) Lajeunesse, Clinton (Raelene) Lajeunesse, Kyle (Stephanie) Lajeunesse. She had a special place in her heart for her best friend (soul sister), Kimberly Lazariuk – you wouldn’t find one without the other and Mama Marion. She was a second mother to her nieces, Danielle, Breanna and Robyn and a loving aunty & great aunty to many other nieces and nephews. She had so much love for her family and friends, including her extended family, Superstore family and mentors – we would need a novel to include everyone. If desired, Memorial Donations in Angie’s honor may be made directly to Klassic Kennels at www.klassickennels.com. Condolences may be sent or viewed at www.parklandfuneralhome.com.
