Mr. Dennis Everett Field of Innisfail, Alberta passed away at the Innisfail Health Center, Innisfail, Alberta on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at the age of 53 years. Dennis was born at a hospital in Calgary, Alberta on April 11, 1972. He was raised in Langenburg, Saskatchewan at his grandmother’s home for six years, then he moved to the area of Olds, Alberta with his Mom and Bill, and lived with them for four years. Dennis’s brother, Mac, was born in Calgary, Alberta in 1980. Dennis then went to a home in Sundre, Alberta for two to three years, and after that moved in with Lil and Bert for a couple years. He then became a ward of Alberta, and later on he moved in with a couple in Red Deer, Alberta, that looked after him for a year. Lacombe Action Group also looked after Dennis for a year while he was attending school at Central in Red Deer. After getting into a bit of trouble, he went to live at the Michener Center in Red Deer and was later taken in by the Pros Agency in Innisfail, Alberta where he lived up until his passing. Dennis was an avid swimmer and bowler, every place was his and everything belonged to him, if left unattended. He also was a member of the Special Olympics. Dennis did lots of camping and went to family reunions. He visited his Uncle Ken and Auntie Shirley in Nova Scotia, and he also went to see Ann of Green Gables. Dennis loved to feed the baby calves at his Uncle Pat’s farm and feed the chickens his cousin Sidney had in the chicken pen. Dennis enjoyed his many trips to the farm with his Grandma Field and also enjoyed his time with Grandpa Field and Bert’s family.
