It is with enormous sadness that we announce the passing of Wayne Hiram Felker, on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at the age of 55. Wayne passed away unexpectedly at his home in Edmonton, Alberta.

Born and raised in Drumheller, Wayne lived life with a quiet strength, a sharp wit, and a deep love for the simple joys — a good fishing spot, a game of crib, a Flames game on TV, and long walks with his loyal companion, Dexter.

To his family, Wayne was “Grumpa” — a title he wore proudly and with endless affection. He found his greatest happiness in time spent with his daughters Keverly (Lucas), Destiny (Mike), his grandchildren Vayda, Lowen, Jett, and an expected grandchild on the way in June. Wayne is survived by his two brothers (Dave and Lucas) and multiple nieces and nephews who cherished his teasing humor and big heart.

He is Predeceased by his parents, Anne and William Felker, Siblings Quintin Dale, Robert Felker, Sheila Larsen and nephew James Felker.

Wayne loved his family and friends deeply. May he be remembered by the spark in his eyes and the joy of his title Grumpa Wayne.

Wayne’s funeral was held at Heartland Funeral Services Chapel, 5226 – 46 Street, Olds, Alberta on Monday, November 17 at 1:00 p.m.
