Clinton James Bailey, of Red Deer, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, at the age of 55 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on February 13, 1970, Clint spent his childhood in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, enjoying sports such as hockey and baseball at a young age. He is predeceased by his mother, Gail (Wittal). He is survived by his father, Tony; stepmother, Valerie; older sister, Candice (Blake); and twin brother, Jason (Nicole).
Clint touched the lives of many with his sense of humour, selfless nature, kindness, and sense of adventure. He put a smile on everyone’s face and faced every challenge he encountered head-on with a positive attitude.
Clint worked extremely hard from a young age. First as a collator with Jason at the local paper, and then onto other jobs he often talked about such as tree planting in Northern Alberta or his brief time spent in the Armed Services in Halifax. However, his true passion was for helping people. Clint started his medical career at the Children’s Hospital in Calgary. After graduating from SAIT as a paramedic, he started his own ambulance service, First Nations Ambulance, in Northern Alberta. He became a well-known member of the community there for years, saving many lives and truly making a difference to the area.
Clint’s proudest titles were dad and grandpa. He is survived by his four children, Brianna (Jamie), Jessie (Ryan), Jack, and Hannah, and four grandchildren, Elias, Madden, Cooper, and Lucas. Clint was always their number one supporter. In his downtime, Clint loved watching hockey, the Blue Jays, and the Roughriders. He enjoyed time outdoors, particularly camping, hiking, or anything that gave him an adrenaline rush.
Clint was remembered by his immediate family, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. A Celebration of Life was held in memory of Clint on Friday, January 9, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 67A Street, Red Deer, Alberta.
