Wayne ‘Jeffrey’ Leonard White of Innisfail, Alberta passed away on April 2, 2021 at the age of 52 years. Jeff was born and raised in Belleville, Ontario until his move to Surrey, British Columbia in 1990 where he met Shelley Rehman, and they married in 1993. Though they later separated after twenty-one years, Shelley and Jeff remained close raising their two children, Cole and Alysse in Innisfail, Alberta. He took pride in his career as a long-haul truck driver which he loved, until a car accident which led to years of chronic pain. Through the years Jeff enjoyed the many trades he was skilled in, such as Pipefitter, Plumber and Gasfitter. He will be fondly remembered playing his acoustic guitar while belting out songs, listening to loud music and for his amazing sense of humor. Jeff loved being surrounded by friends and family for BBQ’s, going camping and being the entertainer. He was known for his long, entertaining stories, even if they were wildly inappropriate, which he loved to repeat often. He also cherished spending time with his children, his brother-in-law Jason and his many friends. His battle with serious health issues including spinal stenosis and heart disease showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Eventually the conflict between Jeff and his body was put to peace. Jeff’s life may have been cut short but he touched the hearts of many while he was with us. Jeff is lovingly remembered by his former wife Shelley, son Cole (Nakayla Garland), daughter Alysse and son Chris from a former partner of British Columbia and one1 granddaughter. He will also be dearly missed by his siblings; Kevin (Diane) of Shannonville, Ontario; his sister Shelley (Scott) of Trenton, Ontario; his half-brother Jeremy of Whitby, Ontario; and his half-sister Brittany of Kitchener, Ontario, as well as, his step-mom Flo White, brother-in-law Jack Keegan, father-in-law George (Margaret) Rehman; sister-in-law Debbie (Allan) Smith, brother-in-law Jason (Mandy Mckee) Rehman and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends. He is predeceased by his parents Wayne White and Brenda White-Spice, his stepfather Roger Spice, his sister Debbie Keegan, his mother-in-law Mary Rehman, and sister-in-law Sandra Rehman. If desired, Memorial Donations in Jeff’s honor may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, PO Box 460 STN K, Toronto, Ontario, M4P 9Z9.
