Mr. William Edward ‘Bill’ ‘Shooter’ Dennis passed away at his home in Red Deer, Alberta on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at the age of 54 years. Bill was born in London, Ontario and raised in various locations in British Columbia and Saskatchewan. Bill loved riding his motorcycles, and with those pursuits, Bill became an active member of U.B.A.K.A. (Urban Bulldogs Against Kids Abuse) along with memberships in other charitable groups. He could often be seen with friends enjoying a cup of coffee at Tim Hortons. After a move to Red Deer in 2005, Bill worked in the automotive repair industry, as Bill was known for his extensive automotive expertise and was always willing to lend a hand. The acquirement of his dream car, a grey 1984 Corvette, had led to many hours restoring. In 2010 Bill started working part time doing security work at music concerts in venues around Red Deer notably at the VAT and The Centrium, which led to a fulltime career providing security at many remote campsites in the Oil and Gas and Construction Industry. Bill was more at home in the outdoors and enjoyed many camping and hiking excursions. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Annie; his daughter, Jessica Dennis of Regina, Saskatchewan; his stepdaughter, Naomi Pope of Red Deer, Alberta; his stepson, Adam Geis of Regina, Saskatchewan; his granddaughter, Willow Irwin of Regina, Saskatchewan; his brother, Zach Ryan of Grand Prairie, Alberta; his sister, Mary Doolittle of Regina, Saskatchewan, his special nieces, Katherine Dennis and Tiffany Francis of Regina, Saskatchewan, and many other extended family and friends. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Roy and Florence and his grandmother, Mary Russell.
