It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Jeffery Lealand Steacy of Red Deer, Alberta, on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at the age of 57 years. Jeffery was born on May 20, 1968 in Kingston, Ontario to parents Marian Trachy and Harold Steacy. In 1982, he made Red Deer, Alberta his home, where he built a life rooted in family, friendship, and community.

Jeffery met the love of his life, Tracy Scott and they were married on July 20, 2002. Together they shared three children, Brianne Scott, Jenna Scott, and Brooklyn Steacy. As a family, they built a life centered around love, loyalty, and strong friendships. Jeffery was a loving father and a loyal friend to many. His kindness, compassion, and genuine care for others left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him. His memory will live on in our hearts forever.

Jeffery is lovingly remembered by his mother, Marian Ashton; his children, Brianne Scott, Jenna Scott, and Brooklyn Steacy; his grandchildren, Madisyn Scott and Mariah Harder. He is also survived by his siblings, Donna Toupin, Laura Wismer, and Darren Steacy, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Jeffery touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed. Jeffery was the heart of our family and a loyal friend to many. His love, kindness, and genuine spirit will live on through all who knew him. He will be missed beyond words and remembered always.
