BLATZ, Roberta ‘Bobbi’
1966 – 2025
Ms. Roberta ‘Bobbi’ Blatz of Lacombe, Alberta passed away at Eckville, Alberta on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at the age of 58 years. Bobbi was born to Marilyn and Bob in Red Deer, Alberta. She was raised in rural central Alberta and attended high school in Lacombe, Alberta. Bobbi was raised to be a hard worker, taking on the farm work outside and never leaving it behind. She worked in oilfield services and retail and was recognized in her youth for excelling in customer service and public speaking. While living all throughout Central Alberta, Bobbi made many friends along the way. She also raised two children and cared for many horses. Bobbi had a passion for horses and riding since her youth. She spent years showing and competing in jumping and barrel racing. Bobbi was known to her family as a strong and resilient woman, as well as a daughter, mother, aunt, and grandma and she will be remembered as such. Bobbi will be lovingly remembered by her son, Clayton Blatz; her daughter, Lacy ‘L.J’. Inglis; her one grandchild. She will also be sadly missed by her mother, Marilyn Mitchell (Al Houle); her father, Bob Blatz (Pat Petersen) and her brother, Dave Blatz as well as other family members and dear friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Cheryl Blatz. In keeping with Bobbi’s wishes, a Funeral Service will not be held.
