Clinton Buckler passed away in his beloved home on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the age of 59 years. He leaves behind a wealth of dearly touched people who will mourn the loss of him, including his girlfriend, Donna Mae Krahn, and his son, Colton Buckler. Clinton was born in Calgary, Alberta on August 16, 1965. Clinton grew up in Cochrane, Alberta and had roots in many towns such as Fort Macleod, Airdrie, and finally, Sundre. He was a man of many passions which included vehicles of all shapes and sizes, horses, hockey, and above all, new experiences. Many also knew him as the man behind Derby Towne Honey. While he enjoyed his privacy, he was sociable and always willing to lend a hand wherever needed. He could be seen at many local events and establishments and was a respected member of the community. Many knew him as a Hockey Coach and professional Mentor. A Come-and-Go Celebration of Life was held at the Bergen Church on Saturday, October 12, 2024. All were welcomed between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. and sharing began at 2:00 p.m. Donation may be made in his name to the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation, or local charities in Sundre such as Greenwood Neighbour Place.
