Mrs. Susan Gloria Budd passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024 at the age of 61 years. Susan was born on March 4, 1963 in Montreal, Quebec, to Lynda and Arthur Bentley. She met her husband, Kevin Budd in Yellowknife at the William McDonald Middle School. They lost touch for a few years, and then met again while still in Yellowknife, and were married in 1986. Kevin and Susan welcomed their first daughter on May 11, 1990 in Port Hardy, British Columbia, and then, nineteen months later, welcomed their youngest on December 21, 1991, also in Port Hardy. On May 7, 2011, they became grandparents to their grandson, Nykolas. Susan was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all those that loved and knew her. Susan will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Katryna Budd and Jessica (Corbin) Schreiner, and her grandson, Nykolas. She will also be sadly missed by her mother, Lynda, and her two sisters, Nancy and Donna, as well as numerous other family members and dear friends. Susan was predeceased by her husband, Kevin Budd and her father, Arthur Bentley. A Private Family Service will be held at a later date.
