Ms. Penny Tamarah Mae Dymianiw of Red Deer, Alberta, passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at the age of 63 years. Penny was born on March 4, 1961 at Yorkton, Saskatchewan, to Samuel and Margaret (nee Wilson) Dymianiw. She moved to Red Deer with her family in 1965, attending Elementary and High School, before completing her Bachelor of Education at the University of Alberta. Penny was born to be a teacher – her passion for teaching and for her students was always her focus. She loved every minute she spent molding their lives for the future. Penny taught in the Red Deer Public School system for over twenty-five years. Her life was filled with many physical challenges, but her brave spirit and determination were examples to us all. She had a bright laugh, a warming smile and a deep sense of faith. She will be missed by all. Penny will be lovingly remembered by her brothers, Dale (Jill) of Victoria, British Columbia, and Randy (Connie) of Red Deer; her nephews, Jesse (Jacquie) of Edmonton, and Jon (Nicole) of Red Deer. She also held a special place in her heart for her great nephews, Luca and Jules, and her great nieces, Vienne and Jolie. Penny was predeceased by her parents, Sam and Margaret. A special thanks goes out to the nurses on Unit 32 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre for their care and compassion.
