Martina Lee ‘Tina’ Finnestad passed away on Friday, February 18, 2022 at the age of 60 years. Tina was born in Regina, Saskatchewan to Chris and Rosina Milne in 1961. She grew up with her older sister, Mary-Anne and two younger siblings, Denise and Carey in Calgary, Alberta. Tina met Scott Finnestad when they were in Grade Ten at High School in Calgary, Alberta. Shortly after Scott and Tina were married, they moved to Red Deer, Alberta, where they celebrated their thirty-sixth Wedding Anniversary. Tina always enjoyed the company of people, and was always ready to lend a hand to make an occasion something to remember. She had a great imagination; which she put to good use in the many renovation projects she and Scott worked on together. Tina enjoyed watching the plentiful wildlife that visited their backyard with Scott and their dog, Griffin. Tina’s humour and joy for life will be missed by the many people that grew to know and love her. A Celebration of Tina’s Life will be held at a later date. If desired, Memorial Donations in Tina’s honor may be made directly to the Central Alberta Humane Society at www.cahumane.com. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed at www.parklandfuneralhome.com.
