1960 ~Ms. Marlayne Marie Christenson ~ 2021 "She loved being called Granny".

Ms. Marlayne Marie Christenson, of Red Deer, Alberta, passed away at the Red Deer Hospital Centre on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at the age of 60 years. Marlayne was born in Fairview, Alberta. For most of her life she lived in Central Alberta, but her favorite place was the farm out by Alix where she lived with her husband Marc for 12 years before relocating to Red Deer. Marlayne loved to craft and bake, she loved dogs, dolphins, and she loved being called Granny. Marlayne will be lovingly remembered by her mom Lorraine Christenson, daughter Kristy (Kyle) Davis and Grandson Maddox ‘Maddy’. She will also be sadly missed by her brothers Dennis, of Peace River, Howard of Peace River, Wayne (Darrys) of British Columbia, Rod(Cheryl) of Strathmore as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Marlayne was pre-deceased by her husband Marc McRae, and her father Ilo Christenson. Thank you to the nursing staff at Unit 32 at the Red Deer Hospital for all your support and care as well as the Home Care teams who helped Marlayne the past year.
