We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Mark Francis Dittrich at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, surrounded by his loved ones, on Friday, June 24, 2022 at the age of 61 years. Mark was born and raised in Stettler, Alberta, and then moved to Pitt Meadows, British Columbia, where he met Maria, his wife. They set up roots in Surrey, British Columbia, where they raised their three kids. Mark was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. His kindness and generosity will not be forgotten. Mark will be lovingly remembered by his wife of thirty years, Maria and their children, Jessica, Kimberly, and Jonathan. Mark’s Vigil Prayer Service will be held at Parkland Funeral Home, 6287 – 67 A Street (Taylor Drive), Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 6 McMillan Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Mark’s family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre for their kindness and compassion during Mark’s final days.
