Ms. Donna Lynn Jaillet of Red Deer, Alberta passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Monday, June 10, 2024 at the age of 64 years. Donna was born on November 11, 1959, at Montreal, Quebec to Ed and Shirley Jaillet. Donna spent twelve years in the Military in the Logistics Branch where she fell in love, married and had a daughter and a son. Donna was released from the Military and moved on to try a few other careers. She finally became a Health Care Assistant which is where she had so much kindness and compassion for seniors. Donna enjoyed playing dice, cribbage, and pickleball. She enjoyed travelling south of the border with her sisters, west to British Columbia, and even just south of Red Deer to Calgary to shop. Donna adored her little dog, Cooper, who loved her just as much. When Donna gave us that side look, we knew it was time for poutine and a bevvie. Donna shed her earthly pain and made a graceful exit, surrounded by love. Her grandkids said that they loved Nana so much, and if love could have kept her alive, she would live forever! Today and forever, she flies free!
Psalm 23:4
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Matthew 11:28-30
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Donna will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Ashlee Marie; her son, Brendan Michael; her loving grandchildren, Stephanie, Madalynn, Stephen, Analee, Gavin and her great grandson, Alixander. A special thank you to the Red Deer EMS, Homecare After Hours and Red Deer Hospice for their loving care and compassion during her final days and hours. Also, the family would like to extend their most sincere gratitude towards Parkland Funeral Home for being very accommodating.
