It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Brenda Anne Morison, who passed away at home on May 19, 2026, at the age of 66 years.

Brenda was born in Calgary, Alberta, on December 14, 1959. She began her working career as a waitress and housekeeper before working at Hitachi, where she met her husband, George and a lifelong friend, Leona Stringer, who introduced her to her love of Shelties. She later worked in appliance and part sales before opening her own business, B & D Bakery, in Carseland, Alberta. Her passion for baking eventually led her into catering for the Agricultural Society. In 2018, Brenda moved to Innisfail, where she enjoyed tending to her garden and especially loved growing sweet peas.

Brenda was the devoted wife of George Morison for thirty-six years, a caring sister to Linda, Harold and Alan Harvey, and a loving mother to Will (Rose), Stanley (Steph), Tammy (Neil) and Mathew. Brenda was also a proud grandmother of seven grandkids; Ariana, Summer, Cole, Blake, Reid, Liam and Grace, and a cherished great-grandmother to Myles.

She was predeceased by parents, Dorothy and Merwin Harvey, as well as her brothers, Lawrence and Mervin Harvey.

A Memorial Service was held at the Heartland Funeral Services, Innisfail on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
