It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Mr. Jay John Jelsing at Red Deer, Alberta on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at the age of 61 years. Jay had a passion for life and loved to travel. He was always up for anything, either an impromptu road trip or an International adventure, especially to his beloved Mexico. He lived his life as he would want to be remembered, with a smile on his face, a guitar in one hand and a joint in the other. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of eighteen years, Rachel, his children, Robert and Amber (Ben), his grandchildren, Jake and Summer, his sister, Cheryl (Bernie) Sperling and his brother Rob Robinson. Jay will be also be remembered many other family and friends including his buddies at Alberta Gold Taxi. Jay was predeceased by his parents Robert and Darlene and his brother Richard Jelsing. At Jay’s request a Private Family Service will be held at a later.
