It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Mrs. Sandra Faye Vandevelde, daughter, mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunty and friend to everyone, at the Red Deer Hospice, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at the age of 67 years. Sandra was born in Canmore, Alberta and called Red Deer, Alberta home, working and raising her family. Sandra will be lovingly remembered by her husband of forty-eight years, Eldon; her sons, Scott and Tyler Vandevelde; her daughter, Angela (Anthony) Crawford; her grandchildren, Katlynn, Lane, Josh, Grace, Cheyenne (Justin), Ty, and Kale; and her great grandchildren, Zaidyn, Nevaeh and Oakley, as well as her extended family and close friends. Sandra was predeceased by her parents, Marvin and Helen Pettigrew. A Celebration of Sandra’s Life will be held at Taylor View Towers, 6950 Taylor Drive, Red Deer, Alberta on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
