Mr. Terry Gale Nance of Crossfield, Alberta passed away at his home, surrounded by his wife and children, on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at the age of 67 years. Terry was born in Barrie, Ontario on May 12, 1957, to Mervyn and Mary Nance. He began working in the Steel Industry at Western Canada Steel in Calgary and worked for various steel companies over the next forty-two years, with most of his time at Ipsco/Evraz, until he retired in 2016. He was a proud member of the United Steelworkers Local 6673. Terry was lovingly involved with his entire family. He enjoyed going to movies, traveling with his wife, Roxinne, and their family. He was a notorious joker and there wasn’t a time or situation that didn’t require a quip or joke. Terry loved living a simple life. One of his favorite things was to have family and friends over for a BBQ. Terry will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Roxinne; his son, Travis (wife, Brin) of Crossfield, Alberta; his three daughters, Dana Nay (husband, Trent) of Airdrie, Adrienne Nance (husband, Mario Lanaras) of Madden, and Heather Nance of Airdrie, Alberta; and his five grandchildren, Parker and Aaron Nay, Hunter and Quinton Lanaras, and Cadence White. He will also be sadly missed by his mother; Mary Scott of Calgary, Alberta; his three brothers, Bob of Calgary, Alberta, Bruce of Winnipeg, Manitoba and Ray of Calgary, Alberta, and a sister, Barb Gilchrist of Calgary, Alberta. Terry was predeceased by his father, Mervyn Nance, a brother, Skip, a sister, Joy, and his first wife, Cheryl Elliott.
