Mr. Hansel Samuel Tilley passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at the age of 64 years. Hansel was born October 4, 1957in Elliston, Newfoundland to Samuel and Eunice Tilley. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make the people around him laugh. Hansel enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and really enjoyed a good game of darts. Hansel was a loyal Toronto Maple Leafs fan and never missed a game on TV. Hansel courageously battled cancer for three years and now his fighting has come to an end. Hansel will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Debbie, his son, Adam (Elaine), his daughters, Stacey (Rob) and Tiffany (Nolan) and his eight grandchildren. He will also be sadly missed by his brothers, Alvin (Margaret) Tilley, Albert (Harriet) Tilly and his sister, Yvonne. Hansel was predeceased by a son, Joshua, his parents, Samuel and Eunice, a brother, Warren, and his sisters, Evelyn and Minnie. A Funeral Service will be held at a later date in Newfoundland.
