It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Arlene Fay Edwards at her home in Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, August 4, 2023 at the age of 67 years. Arlene was born in Lethbridge, Alberta. Arlene was very proud of her family and leaves behind so many wonderful memories. She was always there whenever anyone needed her. After the death of her first son, Jason, who was born with special needs, Arlene entered into the field of working with special needs individuals for over fifteen years. Arlene loved to go camping; it always had to be complete with fires. She loved to go swimming with her grandkids and taking her dog for walks. Arlene will be lovingly remembered by her husband, David Edwards; her son, Michael (Kianna) Edwards; her daughter, Ashley (Hank) Peterson; and her three grandchildren, Declan, Briella, and Dimitri. She will also be sadly missed by her brothers, Cameron (Rose) Winters, Darryl (Natalina) Winters, Mark (Deborah) Winters and her sister, Debbie Gilbert. Arlene was predeceased by her parents, Ruby and Fred Yemen, her sister, Darlene Bendick, and her son, Jason Edwards. The family would like to thank Dr. Philpott for all the years she took such wonderful care of Arlene.
