Jacqueline ‘Jackie’ Charlotte Harrison passed away peacefully with her family by her side after a very short battle with cancer on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at the Innisfail Health Centre, Innisfail, Alberta at the age of 66 years. Jackie was born on January 11, 1956, at Red Deer, Alberta. She knew a lot of people and anywhere she went she would always know someone or had a story for them. In 2011 her smile and purpose in life changed when she became a Nana. From that day forward Jackie lived for her grandchildren; never missing anything from baseball, lacrosse, hockey, road trips or really anything that involved her grandchildren. She shared a special bond with both her “Gray” (Graysen) and “Little Miss BP” (Brynleigh). She cherished the endless amounts of Facetimes with each of them to Dairy Queen, supper dates and everything in between. Jackie leaves behind her son, Tyler-Wayne, her daughter, Desiree (Cody) Maetche, and her grandchildren, Graysen and Brynleigh Maetche. She will also be deeply missed by her sister, Marcy (Andrew) Bloss, her nieces, Crystal Bloss, Jodi (Blair) Kenzle, Jennifer (Zach) Bloss-Lovely, and her great nieces and nephew Brodie, Kayde, Kylee, Bryson and Emberly as well as her childhood best friend, Lynn Orr. Jackie will also be missed dearly by a large extended family and many friends.

Jackie was predeceased by her husband, Jim Ratledge in 1986, her father, Stan Harrison in 1996 and her mother, Jeanne Harrison in 2022. In keeping with Jackie’s wishes, a Funeral Service will not be held. The family requests that a memorial donation be made instead of sending flowers.
