Mr. Thomas Panteli of Innisfail, Alberta passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at the age of 68 years. Thomas was born and raised in Mammari, Cyprus. After finishing culinary school, he served in the army before moving to Belgium and then to Greece to work as a chef. While in Greece, he met his wife, Katherine, and after having their daughter, Helen, they moved to Canada in 1981. While there they added sons, Tom and Gus, to the family. Over the next forty years, Thomas owned and ran numerous restaurants across Saskatchewan and Alberta, most recently the Mountain View Family Restaurant in Innisfail, Alberta from 2008 to 2021. Throughout his life Thomas enjoyed nature and wildlife. He spent as much of his retirement in his garden as possible. Thomas is lovingly remembered by his wife Kathy, his daughter, Helen (Matthew) and his sons, Tom and Gus. He will also be deeply missed by his brothers, Christodoulos (Maro) and Panayiotis (Eleni), his sisters, Georgia (Dimitris) and Athina (Christos) and his brother-in-law, Manolis.
