Mr. Kent Stanley Harrison of Markerville, Alberta passed away at the Innisfail Health Centre on June 19, 2026 at the age of 71 years.

Kent was born at Taber, Alberta to Stanley and Hilda Harrison and received his education there. Throughout his life, he lived in Taber, Alhambra, Red Deer and fifty years farming near Markerville, a place he was proud to call home.

Kent worked in a variety of occupations over the years. Prior to his retirement, he was employed with Trimac, where he earned a Trimac Award in recognition of his outstanding driving record and commitment to safety. A true outdoorsman, Kent enjoyed spending his free time hunting and fishing. He found great pleasure in the wilderness and cherished the many hours spent in nature pursuing the activities that he loved.

Kent is lovingly remembered by Garnet, his wife of fifty years, his daughter Inez Harrison, his son, Troy (Nichole) Harrison, his three grandchildren Kaedin, Harrison Wiltsey, Zachery Harrison and Brooklyn Harrison as well as his three sisters, Karen, Judy, Lorraine and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kent was predeceased by his parents and his eldest son, Travis Harrison and his brother-in-law Don Petersen. If friends desire, Memorial Donations may be made to the Central Alberta Humane Society.
