Mrs. Lorretta Jackson of Red Deer, Alberta passed away at the Red Deer Hospice on Friday, August 18, 2023 at the age of 70 years. In good times, as well as times when she was not feeling so well, Lorretta was a constant source of love and support, strength, and encouragement, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was the pillar of the family who, with a great sense of humor, always had time for one and all. Lorretta will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Rusty, her son, Tim, her daughter-in-law, Michelle and her grandchildren, Josh, Ryder and Peyton, as well as numerous extended family and friends. Lorretta was predeceased by her parents William and Eda (Ida) Walls and many other brothers and sisters. The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to all the staff at the Red Deer Hospice who lovingly cared for Lorretta on her final journey. In lieu of flowers, if desired, Memorial Donations in Lorretta’s honor may be made directly to the Red Deer Hospice Society at www.reddeerhospice.com. A Celebration of Lorretta’s Life will be held at the Valley Centre Community Hall, 38062 Range Road 260, Red Deer County, Alberta on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
