It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Rosanne Adams on December 19, 2022 at the Didsbury Hospital after a hard-fought battle with Parkinson for 14 years at the age of 70. Rosanne was born January 31, 1952 in Provo Utah, U.S.A. to Vivian and Connel Whitehead. She was the youngest of 5 children. She grew up in Stavley, Alberta until she was 6 years old, then her family moved to Calgary where she lived for most of her life with a couple of years in Parkville, BC. In 1970, she graduated from Ernest Manning High School and in 1973 she married her high school sweetheart Donald LaVar Adams in the Cardston LDS Temple for all time and eternity. In 1988, Rosanne graduated from MRC from the nursing program which was her calling. Her nurturing love and care made nursing her long-time career. She worked in Calgary, Sundre and then the Olds area. Rosanne also had a passion for traveling, spending time with family and friends and especially time with her grandchildren. Rosanne enjoyed music, quilting and making people laugh. She had a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ, were she had the opportunity to serve along side her husband as a senior missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Toronto Canada Mission. She is survived by her husband LaVar of 49 years; 4 children Tara (Sean) Sanderson, Tyler (Carrie) Adams, Kelli (Jason) Gordon, Lindsay (Jason) Lorencz; 14 grandchildren; brothers LeRoy, Larry Whitehead; sister Sharon Whitehead. She is pre deceased by her parents Vivian and Connel Whitehead; brother Bryan Whitehead. Rosanne was a loving wife, mother and friend and will be missed by all that knew her. If friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson Association of Alberta.
