It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved spouse, brother, brother-in-law, father, uncle, grandfather, godfather and friend, Mr. Douglas Larry ‘Doug’ Auvigne at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre in the late hours of Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at the age of 71 years. Doug will be lovingly remembered by his spouse, Valerie Johnson; his children, Darcy (Judy), and Derek (Jessica); his grandchildren, Braydon, Tyrell, Mya, and Savannah; and his BFF, Emmett. Doug will also be sadly missed by his siblings, Caren, Patricia (Jack), Debbie, Kathy, and Shelley (Cheryl); his sister-in-law, Penny, and his brothers-in-law, Mick (Elisie), Rick, and Peter (Karen), and numerous extended family and friends. Doug was predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Lois, his sister, Sandra, his mother-in-law, Agnes, his brothers-in-law, Mike, Ervin, and Lloyd and his niece, Lois. A Celebration of Doug’s Life will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 1:00p.m. at the Delburne Community Hall, 2034 – 21 Avenue, Delburne, Alberta.
